Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced certification in CT required.
• NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine for PET imaging required.
• BLS certification as required by state.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in CT and/or PET imaging strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT/PET imaging procedures and explain the process.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR.
• Complete all PET/CT exams obtaining optimal images for physician review.
• Administer contrast agents and monitor patient condition continuously.
• Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and training sessions.
