Job summary
Providence Swedish is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the PET/CT and CT imaging team at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. The role involves performing PET, PET/CT and CT exams, managing IVs, contrast agents, and radiopharmaceuticals while delivering excellent patient care in a safety‑driven environment.
The successful candidate will have completed a Nuclear Medicine Technology program and hold or be eligible for necessary licenses and certifications.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Washington Radiologic Technologist License upon hire.
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
- Certification options include PET, Nuclear Medicine and CT technologist credentials.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic PET, PET/CT, and CT examinations using radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents.
- Operate a multi-slice CT scanner and power injector with precision.
- Start IVs and administer contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals as directed by the physician.
- Provide compassionate patient care and ensure high-quality imaging.
- Maintain safety standards and follow regulatory requirements in imaging procedures.
