Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) seeks a PET-CT Technologist for our Twain site in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging, radiopharmaceutical injections, protocol setup, patient positioning, and image archiving.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from AMA accredited program with PET/CT certification.
  • PET/CT certification required.
  • CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic PET/CT and CT imaging procedures including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents.
  • Position patients and adjust protocols for quality imaging and safe operation of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographics, report distribution, and file handling.
  • Assist with procedure scheduling and related front office functions to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct daily quality control measures to monitor scanner performance and safety.
  • Report malfunctions and coordinate service for equipment as needed.
