Job summary

Providence Swedish Imaging is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform PET, PET/CT and CT examinations with a focus on patient experience and safety. You will work on-site with CT equipment, manage IVs and radiopharmaceutical administration, and collaborate within a skilled team to deliver high‑quality imaging and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has WA licensure and board certifications in PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine, plus appropriate technologist credentials and BLS.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist License upon hire.
• National Positron Emission Tomography Technologist certification or National Registered Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology, or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• National Provider BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents for PET, PET/CT, and CT exams.
• Operate multi‑slice CT scanner and power injector.
• Start IVs and administer contrast and radiopharmaceuticals as directed.
• Provide professional patient care and compassionate service.
• Engage in daily duties to perform high‑quality imaging and care.
• Deliver exemplary customer service in patient and team interactions.
• Maintain safety standards per SMC policies and regulatory requirements.
