Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is hiring an Animal Care Attendant to join our Dog Spot Hotel team. This on-your-feet role involves caring for dogs and other pets, maintaining clean enclosures, feeding, and ensuring pets are healthy and happy.

You’ll work with a team to provide a welcoming, high-quality pet care experience. The position requires a willingness to get hands dirty, a positive attitude, and availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with kennel or animal care is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Exposure to cleaning supplies and pet hair is common.

Responsibilities

• Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serving meals and fresh water for pets.
• Monitoring health, happiness, and poop of every pet guest.
• Reporting anything unusual to the General or Assistant Manager.
• Supervising playtime, tails wagging, and fetch games.
• Assisting with brushing and bath time.
• Handling laundry and belongings to keep pet areas clean.
