Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is hiring an Animal Care Attendant at Pet Palace Cary in Cary, NC. This part-time role is on-site, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Pay starts at $12.00–$14.00/hour DOE + tips, plus DailyPay access.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals and care for their well-being.
• Experience in kennel or animal care is a plus.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy environments.
• Willingness to get hands dirty and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas clean, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and provide fresh water to pets.
• Monitor health and happiness of pets and note unusual findings.
• Report anything unusual to the General Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Supervise playtime and assist with brushing and bath time.
• Handle laundry and ensure clean snuggly items for pets.
• Contribute to creating a happy, safe pet stay experience.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
