Spot Pet Insurance is seeking a creative, social-first Social Media Specialist who lives online, loves internet culture, and knows what makes content stop the scroll.

In this role, you’ll help bring Spot’s social presence to life through content creation, community engagement, customer conversations, and trend-driven storytelling, collaborating with our content and marketing teams to entertain, educate, and connect with millions of pet lovers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of social media coordination experience.
• Strong written communication and brand voice.
• Experience with major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X).
• Familiarity with community platforms and customer comms tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms.
• Create engaging short-form video content, graphics, and social assets aligned with brand voice.
• Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars.
• Monitor social trends and platform updates to identify new opportunities.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, reviews, and conversations.
• Respond to inbound customer messages via Intercom and coordinate with Customer Service for great experiences.
• Help develop community management workflows and automations within Intercom.
• Maintain customer correspondence and internal communication through ClickUp.
• Monitor feedback, identify recurring themes, and surface insights to internal teams.
• Manage and respond to customer reviews across platforms.
• Support customer spotlight and advocacy by showcasing real Spot members and their pets.
• Track engagement and performance, identifying growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Content Strategist and Marketing on campaigns and projects.
