Job summary

Petsense is seeking a Grooming Bathing Team Member to support groomers by managing pet flow in our salon and delivering high-quality bathing services. You will help maintain a clean, organized work environment and provide an excellent customer experience.

The role requires comfort with dogs of all sizes, patience and compassion for animals, and reliable attendance. You will handle bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and routine grooming tasks while supporting scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience: Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments; show patience and compassion for animals.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Preferred knowledge: Operate grooming tools and equipment including bathing tubs, brushes, driers, and perfumed shampoos/soaps; communicate effectively with team and customers; attention to detail.
• Read, write and count to complete documentation; safely work around pets and pet waste.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Support selling initiatives with customers and pets.
• Perform bathing, drying, brushing, and combing of coats; nail trimming and ear cleaning.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of animals; practice proper sanitization.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and customer follow-up.
• Complete documentation for duties performed.
