PAY

Starting at $15/hour, with higher starting pay available based on relevant experience and skills.

SCHEDULE

• Part-time, Monday-Thursday.

• Three days bathing and preparing pets for the groomer.
• One day independently completing bath-and-brush appointments.
• Finishing times may vary with the day's appointments and care needs.

A gentle introduction. A patient approach to a nervous pet. A freshly brushed coat and a comfortable companion heading home. As a Bather at All About Animals Pet Clinic, your care and attention make a difference that pets feel and their families notice.

At All About Animals Pet Clinic, exceptional care begins with exceptional people. We are an independent, woman-owned practice where compassionate care, genuine hospitality, and strong relationships shape the way we work. We invest in our team, welcome ideas, and help people develop their skills.

We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care, takes pride in doing a job thoroughly, and can balance teamwork with responsibility for their own appointments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Your week will include two complementary responsibilities:

• Three days supporting our groomer: Bathe, dry, brush, and prepare pets for their grooming appointments, following the groomer's instructions and keeping pets comfortable throughout the process.
• One day completing bath-and-brush appointments independently: Take responsibility for appointments from start to finish, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, and additional services within your training and assigned responsibilities.

Throughout the week, you'll also:

• Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary services, and light trimming as trained and assigned.
• Use patient, attentive handling and watch for signs of stress or discomfort.
• Promptly communicate skin, ear, behavior, or other health concerns to the groomer or medical team.
• Keep accurate grooming notes and communicate clearly with clients and teammates.
• Help clients understand coat maintenance, brushing, and grooming recommendations.
• Clean and disinfect tubs, tables, tools, and pet areas; help with laundry and organize supplies.
• Manage your time thoughtfully while keeping pet safety and comfort the priority.

WHO WILL THRIVE HERE

You enjoy working alongside others and taking ownership of your work. You can follow the groomer's preparation instructions, stay organized, and manage bath-and-brush appointments with care and attention.

You love animals and understand that caring for them involves patience, physical work, cleaning, and careful observation. You know that working independently also means recognizing when to ask for help.

You're dependable, kind, receptive to coaching, and committed to creating a positive experience for pets and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and follow safe animal handling and bathing techniques.
• Ability to organize tasks, follow instructions, and take responsibility for completing appointments.
• Reliability, clear communication, and attention to detail.
• Comfort learning scheduling software, electronic records, and team communication tools.

Helpful, but not required:

• Experience bathing, drying, brushing, or preparing pets for grooming.
• Experience in boarding, veterinary care, kennels, or other animal care settings.
• Customer service or hospitality experience.

This is an active position involving extended standing and walking, bending, kneeling, repetitive hand movements, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently and heavier weights with assistance. Work includes exposure to water, pet hair, noise, animal waste, and cleaning products.

WHY JOIN ALL ABOUT ANIMALS PET CLINIC?

You'll have the opportunity to learn alongside grooming and veterinary professionals while taking ownership of work that makes a visible difference for pets and their families.

Your ideas matter, your contributions are recognized, and your growth is encouraged. As your skills develop, opportunities may include cross-training, additional grooming responsibilities, and potential future groomer training pathways.
