Job summary

Green Beagle Lodge is seeking a Weekend Dog Bather at our Pittsboro, NC location. This part-time role focuses on bathing and basic coat care, with no grooming or haircuts required. You’ll work Saturdays and Sundays, be physically active, and help prepare dogs for pickup after boarding or daycare.

Training and support are provided to help you succeed. Ideal candidates have a genuine love for dogs, patience, and a strong work ethic.

• Thoroughly dry dogs using towels, dryers, and safe handling techniques.

• Clean ears and perform other basic bathing services as assigned.
• Safely handle dogs throughout the bathing process.
• Monitor dogs for health or skin concerns and communicate observations to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized bathing area.
• Properly clean and maintain bathing equipment and tools.
• Work closely with the Grooming, Pet Care, and Client Care teams to ensure dogs are ready for pickup on time.
• Follow all company safety procedures and handling protocols.

Please note:

This position focuses on bathing and basic coat care. Grooming experience is not required, and this role does not include haircuts or breed-specific grooming.

Ideal candidates bring a genuine passion for animals, patience, and a strong work ethic. This is a physically active role requiring standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and working in a wet environment while handling dogs weighing anywhere from 5 to 150 pounds.

Green Beagle Lodge is looking for a Weekend Dog Bather to join our Grooming team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working hands‑on with dogs and takes pride in helping them go home looking and feeling their best.

As a Dog Bather, you'll play an important role in preparing dogs for pickup after their boarding stay or daycare visit. Your attention to detail and gentle handling help ensure every guest leaves clean, comfortable, and happy.

The pay range for this role is:
