Job description

Zielies Tree Service Inc., a leader in Vegetation Management Services, is seeking Pesticide Applicators for the summer months, June through August.

Zielies Tree Service is a family-owned company specializing in tree removal, trimming, brush clearing, herbicide spraying, and utility line clearing. Our core values emphasize safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability.

Essential Functions

• Become a Certified Pesticide Applicator in Minnesota.
• Apply herbicides to control growth as indicated on maps.
• Use best management practices to ensure safety for employees and the public.
• Inspect and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment; request repairs when needed.
• Commit to daily safety practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Some travel may be required.

Benefits

• Starting pay of $23.25/hour, with IBEW 160 Union Membership required upon hire.
• Work hours from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with potential for overtime on Fridays.
