Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management duties. You will inspect properties, identify pest issues, apply approved treatments, and educate customers on prevention.

Responsibilities include scheduling, meeting customer needs, maintaining equipment, and complying with safety regulations. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills—You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pest management inspections and identify infestations at residential properties.
• Apply pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and ongoing protection methods.
• Build relationships with customers and schedule/confirm appointments.
• Assist with sales to current customers and expand to new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained and in good condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Operate a company-provided service vehicle, with routine maintenance provided.

You will be responsible for identifying and eliminating pests from residential properties by conducting thorough inspections, determining the type of pest infestation, applying appropriate treatments like pesticides and traps, and providing preventative measures to prevent future infestations, all while adhering to safety regulations and communicating with clients about pest control solutions.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry pointsApply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standardsEducate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
