Job summary

Clark Pest Control is seeking Pest Service Technicians to service homes outdoors, protecting living spaces from pests and maintaining lawn and garden care. The role includes inspecting properties, performing treatments, and coordinating with customers to plan work. Training provided, including pest license acquisition.

The position offers a company vehicle, paid training, and a path for advancement within the company, with annual earnings in the $65k–$75k range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Service residential accounts to control pests, weeds, lawn care, and related tasks.
• Inspect structures to assess infestation severity and damage.
• Create diagrams indicating type and location of infestations.
• Discuss work with customers and upsell or solicit additional services.
• Coordinate with office staff and submit paperwork and collections daily.
• Order equipment and supplies as directed by supervisor; run reports as needed.
• Estimate costs, crew time, and schedule work.
• Receive and account for company funds collected during business activities.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment in safe, clean condition.

Responsibilities

We are seeking ambitious and energetic Pest Service Technicians that enjoy working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and their surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in a variety of residential accounts.
• Physically inspecting a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage.
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
• Discussing with residential customers to discuss work to be accomplished and provide creative sales solicitations
• Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel and submitting all paperwork and collections on a daily basis
• Performing other administrative tasks at the supervisor's direction, including ordering equipment and supplies, compiling and submitting a variety of reports, and calling customers regarding client callbacks and stopped service.
• Determining the costs, estimating the crew time and scheduling work.
• Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during the course of business activities.
• Maintaining company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times.

Start Date Information: To support consistent training and onboarding, service technicians begin employment as part of a monthly cohort. The next scheduled start dates for this role are July 13, 2026 and August 10, 2026.

• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Willing and able to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods of time (within crawl spaces, attics and basements)
• Climb ladders and work at heights, including attics
