Rockit Pest Inc. is seeking a Pest Service Professional to manage a daily route, perform residential and commercial pest control visits, and explain services to customers.
Responsibilities include applying treatments, inspecting properties, setting up Sentricon stations, and coordinating with sales to meet client needs; candidates must pass background checks and have a valid driver's license.
This position will have a route where you will be responsible for fulfilling a daily production schedule, operating under limited supervision, arriving to customers in a timely basis, explaining the scope of services you will provide for them, controlling insects, rodents and other pests involving application of professional products and tactics. Pest Service Professional will conduct home and property inspections by identifying potential and actual pest problems, remove unwanted pests including but not limited to roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, etc., and offer detailed plans on how to effectively treat infestation areas and design further control strategies such as Integrated Pest Management.
Works in an outside environment and is subject to inclement weather, hot, humid, cold, rainy, and other temperature and weather-related conditions. Employee is subject to sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level. Works with chemicals and other industry-related products.
Employees are required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Subject to outside environmental conditions including atmospheric conditions of one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory systems: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. No effective protection from the weather and from temperature changes. Works frequently in close quarters, attics, crawl spaces, small, enclosed rooms, and other areas that could cause claustrophobia. Employees are subject to hazards which include on a ladder. Physical requirements include exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of forces frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move object in addition to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
