Orkin is hiring in Cedar Rapids for a field technician role focused on pest and home protection systems. You’ll work on a crew to install insulation, attic and crawlspace services, and perform light carpentry while communicating clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for role.
• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to obtain pesticide license within 90 days; company training provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services with encapsulation and insulation.
• Perform light carpentry work and communicate with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and submit reports via handheld device.
