Job summary

Orkin is hiring for a pest control technician to join a route-based service team. You will complete paid training, prepare and install home pest-control services, and drive a company vehicle within an assigned territory.

No industry experience is required; candidates must be able to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days and work independently with customers. Orkin offers strong training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete our company paid training and learn to operate a pest control service route.
• Prepare and install home services including attic remediation, crawlspace encapsulations, Leaf Guard, and energy-efficient barriers.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within the assigned territory.
• Interact with customers to set expectations and explain the process for satisfaction.
• Serve as a problem solver to determine the best pest solution for each customer.
