Responsibilities

The Orkin Pro provides safe and professional protection and service to customers on a designated route. Your career begins with comprehensive training to develop skills in route operations, scheduling, diagnosis, and treatment planning. You will understand customer problems and resolve them effectively.

  • Complete training to learn necessary skills and knowledge
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
  • Follow route and daily schedules within your territory
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
  • Problem-solve empathetically, understanding customer needs and recommending solutions
  • Explain actions taken and discuss additional services with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Inspect properties, both interior and exterior (training provided)
  • Document all services accurately using provided handheld devices

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • No experience necessary; training provided
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid)
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage routes, interacting with customers at their homes or businesses
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely with or without accommodations:

  • Use ladders safely within weight limits
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Access crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc., including climbing and balancing tasks
  • Wear PPE, including respirators when necessary
  • Work in various weather conditions
