Job summary

Orkin is hiring in Appleton, WI for an Orkin Pro role focused on customer service and pest protection. Paid training begins on day one, and no prior pest control experience is required.

You will work a route-based schedule with opportunities to advance into leadership or management. The position offers seasonal hours with company support, a company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and employee

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear PPE, which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on your daily route with top-tier pest protection.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues; training provided.
• Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services for peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete reports and documentation on a handheld device.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
