Job summary

Ehrlich Pest Control in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to deliver residential pest management services. You will inspect properties, identify pests, apply treatments, and advise clients on prevention while adhering to safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Training is provided, and benefits start on day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Able to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Basic math and reading/writing skills; able to follow product labels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment and provide prevention advice.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales, and expand services to new customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment, keep it stocked, and ensure proper functioning; comply with regulations and safety protocols.
