Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to service local routes. You will operate a company vehicle, apply safe treatments, and address customer pest concerns while keeping accurate service records and maintaining truck and equipment.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. A valid US driver’s license (minimum 3 years) and a clean driving record are required, along with passing a drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• A US driver\'s license valid for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.
• No experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily local route, resolving customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments.
• Mix, apply and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Advise customers on potential problems.
• Keep management informed of issues on routes.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides.
• Carry a 50 lb backpack.
• Work every other Saturday.
