Aptive Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Technician for a full-time road-based role serving the Livermore, CA area. You will run a daily route, apply treatments, maintain equipment, and keep records in line with state and federal laws.

No experience is required—we train you. A valid US driver’s license, clean driving record, and background check are required. Benefits include health plans, a 401(k) with match, paid holidays, and a company vehicle when assigned.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training provided.
• A US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route addressing customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers when choosing pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.
