Orkin is offering opportunities on a route-based pest control team in Florida. You’ll start with comprehensive, award-winning training and learn the skills to protect homes and businesses with safe, effective pest management.

Role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and empathy as you work with customers in their homes and businesses. A valid license and willingness to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken and discuss additional services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and learn the workflow for service routes.
