Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC) is hiring for a field service role in Virginia. You will inspect commercial accounts, develop pest control solutions, and treat customer facilities while maintaining professional customer relations and precise documentation.

The position offers competitive pay ($22.00–$25.00/hr) with commission-based earnings potential, a company vehicle option with gas card, and a comprehensive benefits package. Travel is involved to service clients across the region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• No Experience Required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain a pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently.
• Some Travel Required - throughout North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships by responding to customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Serve as a problem solver for customers using provided training and company resources to decide on the best solution for each customer’s needs.
• Possess a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to work independently and to be self-motivated.
• Develop knowledge and expertise in pest control methods and products through provided training.
• Maintain accuracy of all customer and IFC records.
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to work the necessary hours to complete complex customer requirements as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
