Job summary

Greenix Holdings, LLC is seeking a Pest Control Technician in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The role involves safely applying pesticides, documenting services, and communicating effectively with customers about their service. No direct experience is required, but sales experience is preferred. Successful candidates will be at least 21 years old and must have a valid Driver’s License.

This position offers a base hourly pay starting at $18/hour plus uncapped sales commissions with top performers potentially earning $75,000 annually. Additional benefits include a company vehicle, comprehensive medical, and PTO.

Job description

Schedule: Monday–Friday, some Saturdays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely apply pesticides according to company standards, label instructions, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Document services performed according to company standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment according to company policy, maintaining proper condition.
• Drive company vehicle to customer locations.
• Build and maintain relationships with teammates and customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers about their service, including updates to plans and service schedules.
• Respond quickly to customer and office requests.
• Assist in sales activities and ensure customers have the most complete Pest Control and Animal Management services.

Qualifications

• No direct experience required; sales experience is preferred.
• High School or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, tight spaces, and elevated heights.
• Capability to work with stinging and/or biting pests.
• Ability to read and write notes clearly.
• Ability to lift equipment or backpack up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to successfully complete the state pesticide applicator licensing process.
• Ability to handle, mix, spray pesticides and manage associated chemicals.
