Job summary

Stark Exterminators, part of the Arrow Exterminators family, is hiring a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to service commercial pest control customers using an Integrated Pest Management approach. You will inspect facilities, identify pest problems, and implement IPM-based treatments to protect clients’ products and spaces.

Your role includes operating with a professional appearance, maintaining equipment and vehicle, and supporting a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.

Qualifications

• Pass and maintain state regulatory licensing/certification exams.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• Be able to work a minimum 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to identify insects, rodents, pest harborage areas and conditions.
• Apply IPM-based treatments and solutions to protect client facilities.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in proper working order and ensure safety and professionalism on site.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Your hours may vary as a Commercial Pest Control Technician because some of your accounts can only be serviced outside normal working hours. Your work is important to your customers as you will be an integral part of protecting their facilities and the products they provide from infestation. Each customer is unique, and your services will vary depending on whether you are servicing offices, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing, or mixed-use facilities. Your services start with a thorough inspection of the property to assess any problems and properly identify insects, rodents, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions. You will apply expertise and problem-solving to treat for and prevent pests. This includes the meticulous inspection and maintenance of bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
• Able to pass internal technical exams
• Possess current Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Arrow uniform
• Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek
• Willing to work a flexible schedule depending on customer's service requirement
