Job summary

Stark Exterminators is seeking a Commercial Pest Control Technician to deliver IPM-driven service to commercial customers. This full-time role may require after-hours visits and requires a focus on protecting facilities and products from pests.

You will inspect, identify, and treat pests across offices, hotels, manufacturing sites, and mixed-use facilities using professional techniques, maintaining equipment and vehicle readiness while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams.
• Present a professional appearance including wearing an Arrow uniform.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule depending on customer's service requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify insects, rodents and conducive conditions.
• Apply IPM-based pest control solutions tailored to commercial settings.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition and document service activities.
• Protect clients' facilities and products from infestation through proactive treatment and monitoring.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Your hours may vary as a Commercial Pest Control Technician because some of your accounts can only be serviced outside normal working hours. Your work is important to your customers as you will be an integral part of protecting their facilities and the products they provide from infestation. Each customer is unique, and your services will vary depending on whether you are servicing offices, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing, or mixed-use facilities. Your services start with a thorough inspection of the property to assess any problems and properly identify insects, rodents, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions. You will apply expertise and problem-solving to treat for and prevent pests. This includes the meticulous inspection and maintenance of bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
• Able to pass internal technical exams
• Possess current Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Arrow uniform
• Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek
• Willing to work a flexible schedule depending on customer's service requirement
