Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team in California. The role starts with award-winning training; no prior pest control experience is required, and you will learn to protect customers’ homes and businesses.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly wage ($18.00–$23.00) with a company vehicle and gas card on route assignment, plus a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training for career growth at Orkin.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required – we'll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
• Ability to work independently and manage route-based assignments
• Interact with customers inside their businesses and homes

Responsibilities

• Complete award-winning training to learn skills to serve customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow route and daily operation schedules within territory
• Operate a company vehicle safely
• Demonstrate professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Solve problems for customers with empathy and Orkin Pro expertise
• Meet with customers to explain actions and ensure satisfaction
• Inspect interior and exterior of properties
• Complete service-related documentation on handheld device
