Job summary

Mosquito Hunters is hiring for full-time positions in Illinois. The role involves outdoor work, surveying yards for mosquito breeding grounds and applying larvicide as needed, with a company vehicle provided. You’ll train for licensing and have opportunities for advancement based on performance.

We seek individuals 18+, with a valid driver’s license, able to lift 40 lbs, and able to work independently in an autonomous field environment. Prior pest control experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Pest control license preferred but not required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have valid driver's license.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Be hardworking & reliable.
• Possess excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Be comfortable working independently.
• Pass licensing test (all multiple choice - we train & pay for this).

Responsibilities

• Represent the company and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and equipment.
• Survey yards for mosquito breeding grounds.
• Reduce or apply larvicide to standing water on the property.
• Give clients recommendations on products and services.
• Apply control products to the surrounding foliage using a motorized backpack sprayer.
