Job summary

D&R Pest Control in Tiffin, Iowa is seeking a Pest Technician Apprentice to join our local, employee-owned team. The role involves supporting experienced technicians, driving a company vehicle to residential and commercial locations, and applying approved products following safety procedures.

Starting pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package. This position offers teamwork, safety-first training, and growth toward licensure.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the leadership and fellow team members to ensure the highest quality customer service.
Drive a company vehicle to customers' homes and businesses.
Maintain company vehicles according to company policy.
Apply company pesticide products to residential and commercial locations while following all safety procedures and label instructions.
Complete all required paperwork to comply with state and federal laws.
Be comfortable with heights, tight spaces, and working outdoors in year-round weather.
Be flexible with hours (working more hours during peak season).
Ability to pass state testing to become a licensed pest professional
You DO NOT have to sell. - You will take over an already established route.
You DO NOT have to build/schedule your routes. - We make them for you. (Local routes only; no long-distance travel across the state)
