As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for working with a variety of customers in the hospitality industry and other commercial businesses. By providing quality services and identifying solutions to pest problems, you'll help our customers protect their brand and support their success. Our 5-week comprehensive PAID TRAINING program is designed to equip you with the tools and resources to excel in your field — no prior experience required! Once established on your route, this role offers flexible scheduling and ownership of the customer accounts you service.
What You Will Do:
- Establish effective working relationships with customers and collaborate on best practices to identify and resolve pest issues.
- Maintain expertise in Ecolab's products and industry conditions to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutions.
- Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service records and document structural, sanitation, and pest issues.
Position Details:
- This is a field-based position that may require travel within the surrounding areas:
- Port Charlotte, FL
- Work week and shift:
- Overnight Shift; Sunday-Thursday (9/10 pm - 5/6 am)
During training, you will travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota for 1 of the 5 weeks. Travel is typically during week 3; the remaining weeks are in-field training. Ecolab will organize and cover travel expenses. You must have proper identification, such as a Real ID, to fly.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of work or military experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work overnight shifts as needed.
- Willingness to be on call during off-hours and weekends.
- Ability to obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required by law.
- Must be 18 or older due to work nature and hours.
- Background check and drug test (including THC) required after offer acceptance. Immigration sponsorship not available.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to wear a respirator.
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds at chest height.
- Work may involve confined spaces, dusty or damp environments, ladders, and extreme temperatures.
- Essential duties include lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, manual dexterity, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
- Driving a company vehicle may be required; driving record checks will be conducted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to sell value-added products.
- Experience in pest elimination or route work is a plus.
