Job summary

PestCo is hiring a Regular Full-Time Technical Pest Control Service Technician in Pasco, WA. The role focuses on pest remediation and prevention for residential and commercial properties, with crawlspace inspections and tool usage included.

A strong emphasis on safety, communication, and customer service is required. Qualified applicants will perform on-site service, provide estimates for treatments and maintenance, and maintain equipment and records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance for customers.
• Complete scheduled appointments on time per company policies and local regulations.
• Act as subject matter expert to deliver efficient pest solutions for client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

A Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Good communication skills and investigating skills.


• Crawling crawlspaces, inspecting, and setting traps.


• Some knowledge of construction or experience. Use of power tools & cutting tools. We are responsible for building crawlspace access doors, and crawlspace vents.


• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.


• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.


• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.


• Use all safety equipment as instructed.


• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.


• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.


• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.


• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.


• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.


• Self-motivated and results driven.


• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.


• Pass a background check and drug screen.


• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but not required)
