We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located in the area around Parkville, MD. The position reports to our office in Baltimore, MD once per week. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment and excels at working independently.

Compensation and Benefits

• $17.75 - $21.75 an hour

Responsibilities

• Manage daily routes to address customer pest concerns

• Maintain truck and equipment in good working order

• Keep accurate records of treatments

• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following laws

• Provide expert pest solutions tailored to customer needs

• Serve and maintain customer routes per company standards

• Advise customers on potential problems

• Inform management of route issues

• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides

• Work within your local area

• Carry a backpack weighing approximately 50 lbs

• Work every other Saturday

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided

• Valid US driver’s license for at least 3 years

• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years)

• Drug test and background check required
