Job summary

Western Pest Services in NYC is seeking a Pest Control Technician to protect homes and businesses in our area. This role includes industry-leading, company-paid training and the opportunity to serve both residential and commercial customers.

You’ll inspect attics, crawl spaces, and interiors/exteriors, building relationships with clients and performing pest-control work with a safety-conscious, customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or better.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain pesticide license within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Complete company-paid two-month training.
• Assist residential or commercial customers with pest issues.
• Inspect attics, crawl spaces, and interiors/exteriors of properties.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Complete our industry-leading, company paid two-month training
• Help either/both residential or commercial customers with their pest control issues
• Inspect attics, crawlspaces, and the interiors and exteriors of homes or businesses in our area

Requirements:

• High School/GED or better
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be 18 years of age

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations as well as the ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid):

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

Salary Range: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
