Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover daily routes around Murfreesboro, TN, reporting to the Nashville office weekly. This full-time role offers training, a company vehicle you can take home, and uncapped bonuses.

Earn $17.50–$21.50 per hour with additional benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K match, paid holidays, and paid time off; expect overtime and potential advancement in a dynamic, upbeat culture.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• A US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years is required.
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing efficient pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage.
• Carry a 50 lb product backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Murfreesboro, TN. This position will report to our office in Nashville, TN once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities include:

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order

• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s individual needs

• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
