Job summary

Critter Control is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join a nationwide wildlife-management team serving residential and commercial properties. You will protect people, property, and wildlife while delivering humane removal, exclusion, and repair solutions with a safety-first mindset.

We value self-motivated individuals who can work outdoors, get hands dirty when needed, and communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required – Customer Service, General Labor, or Pest Control Experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using several types of software and applications.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Inspect and identify properties for wildlife damage including on roofs, in attics, and in crawlspaces
• Remove nuisance wildlife from residential and commercial properties
• Perform exclusion work to prevent reentry of wildlife into homes and businesses
• Install and service bait stations and exclusion devices
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment
• Identify and communicate safety-related obstacles and lead with a safety-first mindset

Responsibilities

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be part of a team of professionals providing world-class wildlife management services for residential and commercial properties. You will be heroes in your communities protecting people, property, and wildlife. A successful Pest Control Technician needs to be motivated, energetic, and creative with outstanding communication skills.

Your daily activities include…

What does the work environment look like?

We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
• Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
• Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.
• Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
