Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service local routes around NewCastle, WA, with weekly reporting to the Fife, WA office. You’ll resolve customer pest concerns, maintain vehicles and equipment, and ensure compliant records and treatments.

No experience is required; training is provided. A valid US driver’s license, clean driving record, and a pre-employment drug test are required. Competitive benefits and potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• A US driver’s license valid for ≥3 years is required.
• Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in 1 year; no more than 2 in 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments.
• Mix and apply pesticides per state and federal laws.
• Advise customers on potential problems and solutions.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides and service all route customers.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around NewCastle, WA. This position will report to our office in Fife, WA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

• $21.25 - $25.25 an hour

Responsibilities include:

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications:
