Owl Pest Prevention is seeking a Pest Control Technician based in Hyattsville, MD to service the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia regions. The role includes completing a company-paid two-month training and assisting residential or commercial customers with pest control issues.

You will inspect attics, crawlspaces, and interiors and exteriors of homes or businesses, with a focus on safety and customer service. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

We are currently seeking a Pest Control Technician. This position will be based out of our Hyattsville, MD branch and service the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia areas!

Requirements:

• High School/GED or better
• Driver’s license
• Must be 18 years of age

Physical Demands / Working Environment

We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations as well as the ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid):

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
