Orkin is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as pest service professionals. No prior pest-control experience is required, as award-winning training will set you up for success. You’ll protect homes and businesses, with opportunities for advancement into leadership roles.

Average first-year earnings are between $50,000 and $60,000 plus commission, with comprehensive benefits, a company vehicle, and ongoing support to help you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), sometimes OSHA respirator.
• Climb, crawl, or work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier pest protection, communicate clearly, and demonstrate customer focus in every interaction.
• Identify pest issues both inside and outside homes or businesses, full training provided.
• Explain findings, answer questions, and recommend services that help customers feel secure and informed.
• Follow all safety protocols while conducting services, handling equipment, and applying treatments to protect yourself, your team, and customers.
• Handle company vehicles, tools, and materials responsibly while adhering to best practices.
• Use handheld devices to accurately log findings, complete service reports, and track customer interactions efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)


• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.


• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.


• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
