Job summary

Epcon Lane Pest Control in Cleveland is seeking a motivated technician to work outdoors, enjoy independence, build relationships, and solve problems. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain pest control license within the first year of employment; licensing and training are paid for by the company.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at office by 8:00 AM, review the day, and load products.
• Complete your assigned route, including residential and commercial services.
• Address customer concerns and perform treatments; document all work.
• Communicate with the office throughout the day; assist other technicians if needed.
• Head home after delivering value and ensuring customer peace of mind.

What Is This Role About?

Do you enjoy working outdoors, having independence in your day, building relationships, and solving problems? If so, this role may be a great fit.

No experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training and licensing. Epcon Lane is certified by the National Pest Management Association as a QualityPro company, a distinction held by fewer than 3% of pest control companies nationwide.

A Day in the Life

This position works a 4-day schedule (four 10-hour days): Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday.

• Arrive at the office by 8:00 AM to meet with your supervisor, review the day, and load necessary products
• Complete your assigned route, including drive time, residential and commercial services, and any additional calls
• Address customer concerns, perform treatments, and clearly document all work completed
• Communicate with the office throughout the day as needed
• If finished early, assist other technicians or help complete additional jobs
• Head home knowing you made a real difference in your customers' peace of mind and well-being

  Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a pest control license within the first year of employment
    • Licensing and training are paid for by the company
    • Bonus opportunity upon successful licensure
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle

  Compensation & Benefits

  Pay:

  $18-$20 per hour, DOE

  Base pay plus opportunities for additional compensation
