Job summary

Rochester Pest Pro is seeking a Pest Control Technician to inspect premises, identify infestation sources, and develop effective plans to eliminate pests in the Rochester, NY area.

You will perform treatments, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols while engaging with clients and managing daily routes. A license and driver’s license are required, with relocation to Rochester if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year pest control experience preferred.
• Certification in category 7F and 7A preferred.
• Driver's License required.
• Pest Control License required.
• Ability to relocate to Rochester, NY before starting work (Required).
• Day Shift availability (Required).

Responsibilities

• Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property.
• Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients.
• Spray or dust chemical solutions, powders, or gases into cracks, cervices, interior & exterior.
• Clean work site after completion of job.
• Analyze pest control activity to explain, sell and implement an effective plan of action.
• Maintain truck and servicing equipment.
• Follow servicing and safety protocols.
• Sell and service generated leads, referrals.
• Servicing daily route or assigned work.
• Perform other duties as required.

The Pest Control Technician will represent Rochester Pest Pro by performing inspections, presenting and selling services and following through by performing those services. You will conduct investigations to determine the source of pest activity and then build a solution of products and services to rid the area of pests.

• Maintain truck and servicing equipment
• Follow servicing and safety protocols
• Selling and servicing generated leads, referrals
• Servicing daily route or assigned work
• Perform other duties as required

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior experience working as a Pest Control Technician
• Pest Control Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Certification in category 7F and 7A is preferred
• Driver's License (Required)
• Pest Control License (Required)
• Ability to relocate to Rochester, NY before starting work (Required)
• Day Shift availability (Required)
