D&R Pest Control, a locally owned company since 2008, is hiring a Pest Technician Apprentice in Cedar Falls. The role involves working on IPM-based services, supporting rapid growth, and following safety-first procedures.

You’ll earn hourly pay with room to grow, participate in training and team events, and contribute to a dedicated community-focused service. The position includes a standard 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday, with overtime during peak seasons and a comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities

• Work closely with leadership to ensure the highest quality customer service.
• Drive a company vehicle to customers' homes and businesses.
• Maintain company vehicles according to policy.
• Apply pesticides following safety procedures and label instructions.
• Complete required paperwork to comply with state and federal laws.
• Be comfortable with heights, tight spaces, and outdoor year-round work.
• Be flexible with hours during peak season.
• Ability to pass state testing to become licensed pest professional.
• You do not have to sell; you will take over an already established route.
• We make routes; no long-distance travel across the state.

Pest Technician Responsibilities

• Complete all required paperwork to comply with state and federal laws.
• Be comfortable with heights, tight spaces, and working outdoors in year-round weather.
• Be flexible with hours (working more hours during peak season).
• Ability to pass state testing to become a licensed pest professional
• You DO NOT have to sell. - You will take over an already established route.
• You DO NOT have to build/schedule your routes. - We make them for you. (Local routes only; no long-distance travel across the state).
