Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Pest Control Service Specialist. The specialist will coordinate and manage service appointments, communicate with customers by phone and digital channels, and assess reported pest issues using photos, descriptions, and remote diagnostic tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing treatment and prevention plans, scheduling on-site services with field technicians, documenting findings and recommendations, and maintaining accurate service records in company systems. The role also involves educating customers on safe pest prevention practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company protocols, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex cases. The specialist is expected to provide responsive, professional customer support while prioritizing safety, quality, and long-term prevention outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pest control principles, integrated pest management (IPM), and basic building or structural conditions related to pest activity.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and clear verbal and written communication skills for working with diverse clients and team members.
• Ability to use digital tools, scheduling software, and CRM systems to manage appointments, records, and customer communications in a remote environment.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret customer reports, identify likely pest issues, and recommend appropriate solutions and prevention strategies.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities independently.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmentally responsible pest management practices.
• Previous experience in pest control, property services, environmental services, or a related field is preferred but not required; relevant training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or licenses in pest control are a plus, depending on state and local regulations.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace to perform remote duties effectively.
