Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Pest Control Consultant to sell residential pest management services and protect homes and families.

You’ll represent the national brand locally, assessing customers’ needs and recommending tailored solutions. Responsibilities include inspecting homes for pests, selling pest control and preventative maintenance, collaborating with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales and Technicians, and following up on proposals to close deals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service and communication skills, plus sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests and assess pest harborage, entries, etc.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales and Technicians to increase opportunities.
• Develop proposals for customers to resolve pest issues and upsell services.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations and ensure satisfaction.
