Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Service Technician (Maintenance) to inspect and install pest and home protection systems as part of a collaborative crew. You will perform attic and crawlspace services, light carpentry, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role offers competitive pay from $20–$22 per hour, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and company tools provided. Prior pest control experience is not required—paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid).
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete tasks.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Perform light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
