Pest Control Consultant

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field sales professional to sell pest management services to residential customers in the Gilbert, AZ area. You will assess needs, recommend solutions, inspect homes for pests, and develop proposals using our Sales CRM.

Collaboration with inside sales, service technicians, and the branch manager will drive revenue and service excellence. Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of pest control or sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel extensively

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from the current state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Related sales experience and/or training is desirable.
• Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100% within assigned territory(s).
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or reposition up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Ability to work around spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents, and other pests.
• Ability to enter basements, crawl spaces, attics, and other small or confined spaces.
• Ability to use PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
