Pest Control Applicator/Technician

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pest Control Applicator/Technician to join our team and take over all residential bug spraying responsibilities. As a key part of our small business, you will work directly with our customer base to ensure their homes remain pest-free through excellent service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform quarterly pest control treatments at customer homes, including:

• Spraying the base of homes, eaves, and interiors (as requested).
• Brushing eaves to remove spider webs and wasp nests.

-Set, monitor, and maintain mouse traps:

• Secure traps safely to protect children and pets.
• Replace bait and remove previously captured rodents.

-Conduct thorough inspections and communicate with customers regarding their pest control needs.

-Drive to company property each morning to load necessary products and supplies for the day’s services.

-Accurately record all services performed and products used in the company app immediately after each appointment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
• Ability to obtain a Utah Pest Control Applicator License (must be licensed before starting).
• Access to a smartphone for company app use.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability for work performed.
• Ability to accept feedback from management and customers and work toward continuous improvement.
• Trustworthiness, dependability, and a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualities:

• Previous pest control experience (preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person).
• Customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Comfort working independently and managing a daily schedule.

Additional Information

Work Hours:

To be determined with individual, but a possible schedule could include Monday–Friday, mornings to early afternoons depending on customer scheduling.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience, with opportunities for raises based on performance and licensing.
