Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Grounds and Landscape Services and/or his designee, determines the need for and conducts operations related to the application of horticultural and pest control treatments to campus grounds and landscape andoversees maintenance, modification and replacements of theuniversity irrigation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines the needs for and conducts operations related to the application of horticultural and pest control treatments to campusgrounds and landscape.
• Responsible for the input and tracking of labor of pestservices into famis software. Responds to customer calls for workorders. Coordinates schedules of chemical treatments with variousleads and campus departments.
• Dispense herbicides and train employees on the safe andeffective means for application of chemical and herbicides.Maintain chemical use records and complete monthly reports of usageand applications of chemicals to the Department of pesticideregulation (DPR).
