Zusammenfassung

Itaú is seeking a backend Java engineer to develop and evolve robust services with REST APIs and scalable microservices. You will drive AI adoption in flows and products, contribute to architecture decisions, and uphold quality through automated tests and reviews.

You will collaborate across squads to solve complex software problems and optimize performance in Cloud Native environments, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes in a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifikationen

• Solid Java 11+ experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Familiar with AI tools/concepts: RAG, Claude, Copilot, Hive.
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Automated testing with JUnit and Mockito.

• Develop and evolve robust backend applications using Java, designing REST APIs and system integrations
• Actively drive adoption of AI solutions in flows and products
• Take part in technical standards and architecture decisions for microservices and event-driven systems
• Ensure technical quality through automated tests and code reviews
• Support multidisciplinary squads in solving complex software problems
• Monitor and optimize application performance in Cloud Native environments

Requirements

• Solid Java 11+, Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem experience
• Practical microservices and RESTful API experience
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and concepts: RAG, BMAD, APM, Devin, Claude, Copilot, Hive
• Cloud ecosystem experience, preferably AWS
• Relational and NoSQL databases, plus messaging such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Solid Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Automated testing skills with JUnit and Mockito
