The incumbent supports the Personnel Security and Suitability Program in the Human Capital Management Office, performing pre-screening, investigations, and adjudicative tasks to determine security eligibility for duty in sensitive and non-sensitive positions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher or two years of graduate study leading to such a degree OR LL.B./J.D. in a related field.
• At least one year of qualifying experience at the GS-07 level or equivalent.
• Combination of postbaccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screening, investigative, and adjudicative actions to determine suitability and security eligibility for entry on duty and retention in sensitive and non-sensitive positions.
• Reviewing and processing requests for personnel security investigations.
• Establishing policies and procedures for a personnel security program and maintaining personnel security cases/rosters.
