Office of Naval Research (Naval Research Laboratory) seeks a Personnel Security Specialist to determine investigation type and scope based on position sensitivity. You will review security forms, case papers, and related personnel security documentation in the Mission Support Division.
Qualifications include a four-year degree or higher; Ph.D. or equivalent graduate education; transcripts if qualifying by education; telework eligibility is available.
You will serve as a Personnel Security Specialist in the Mission Support Division, Code 127300 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
You will determine the appropriate type and scope of investigation based on position sensitivity by reviewing security forms, case papers, and related personnel security documentation.
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: NO-02: Successfully completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. NO-03: Ph.D.

The posted pay range is $46085 – $134659/yr.
